W Hotel, which is part of the historic Akaratler Row Houses built in the 1870s for the staff of Dolmabahçe Palace, opened its doors in 2008 following an extensive renovation project. The hotel, which blends both historical and modern luxury, offers service with 140 rooms. In W Hotel, where the fire announcement and background music systems were installed, both systems were fed through the same speakers, eliminating unnecessary speaker clutter. Within the scope of the project, personal music systems were installed in every room in addition to background and performance music in the lobby, restaurant, bar, and spa areas.

Soho House Istanbul, which includes the historic Palazzo Corpi building constructed in 1873 by the Genoese Corpi family, opened its doors in 2014. Offering hotel, restaurant, café, sports, and club services to its members, Soho House provides a unique Soho experience with its historic architecture.

In the project, background music and club performance applications were implemented in many areas such as the hotel, restaurant, bar, gym, and foyer. In the ballroom, specially called the “big room,” high-performance line array speakers were used. During system testing, the strong low-frequency performance caused the lights on the floor to become loose, requiring reinforcement of the lighting system.

Although it is a large area where cable installation could pose significant limitations, three separate power and control centers were created using Dante protocol. These centers supply various regions that can operate independently, such as the poolside, restaurants, bars, spa, meeting rooms, gym, hotel and residence reception areas, etc. One of these centers is located at the main bar on the pool floor, while the other is at the beachfront bar at sea level — approximately 300 meters apart. By using Dante protocol, long-distance signal loss was eliminated, and any signal entered into the network can be monitored from any area of the hotel.

In the project, a fully integrated audio system was designed and implemented from scratch in areas such as general spaces, meeting rooms, and restaurants, in accordance with the strict rules of the operator.

In this historic mosque where modern elements needed to be kept to a minimum, slim column speakers were used. Thanks to their vertically aligned drivers providing effective long-distance sound dispersion, the number of required speakers was minimized. While standard speakers lose 6 dB when the distance doubles, these column speakers lose only 3 dB. For worshipers outside the mosque, weatherproof outdoor speakers were installed.

In this venue, which includes more than 200 surface-mounted speakers, the speakers blend seamlessly with the decor, making them visually unobtrusive. Spread across the second floor of Zorlu Mall, the large area serves multiple purposes. It is possible to provide different sound levels in eight different sections such as the bar, fish, meat, pasta, deli areas, etc. Additionally, an exclusive “fine dining” section, independent from all others and operated by distinguished chefs, was also created.
